The Method Putter - It won the US Open and the British Open last year and for Clayton it has won the opening tournament of 2010. It was a cold and blustery night on Course 1 (as on Course 2 the carpets were being changed). Clayton grabbed the lead early with an impressive 8-under par 28 and accelerated like a Toyota to victory. His three round total of 88 was only 3 strokes shy of the RPC record. Defending RPC Champ Dennis tied the low round with a final round 28, but it was only good enough for second. Mark edged out Geoff for 3rd with the other sub-100 score. James reaquainted himself with par and shot three 36's. Troy's attempt to overthrow 'The King' was twarted by a closing nine score of 21, and he is the leader in the clubhouse for 6th man of the year. Hunter made his RPC debut and hopefully this will be his first of many tournaments.
