Clayton & The Mercy Rule - Low scores on Course 1 have been hard to come by, that is until a couple of changes were made to the course. By making #6 and #14 ace holes, adding a solid right rail for a bank shot on #11 and a firm back rail on #12, scores have been dropping over the past two months. Week 24 was no exception with exactly half of the rounds played being sub-30. The low round of the night was an impressive 11-under par 25 by Dennis which closed the gap between him and second round leader Clayton. A playoff ensued between the top two putters on the Player of the Year list. An exciting playoff was cut short by rain and Dennis' front nine 19, causing him to be 6 strokes down. On the 17th hole, as the Putt-Putt flags were lowered in the background, Dennis raised the white flag and the first ever 'Mercy Rule' was invoked. Clayton prevailed and added to his RPC leading win total which currently stands at 10. Mitchell and James broke 90 to tie for third and split $4.
